“How do I know
what I’m going to say until I hear it myself?” Complacency
Has Ended That’s the GOOD side of this big Pluto transit that we are undergoing. More and more people are telling me that they “simply can’t take it anymore” - whatever their particular “it” is. I understand that; I can see it. In other words, Pluto, working from within us, which is where it “is coming from,” has been pressuring us to mean more, to become more, and to get past our own weaknesses. We now want lives where we can make a contribution and be more significant. No longer can we accept our previous “less than actualized” self. Now, you know what
it feels like everyday to be a Scorpio You are seeing this shift happen everyday, in healthy and unhealthy expressions. Healthy = “I’m tired of my stuff. I’m going to change it.” Unhealthy = “I’m tired of your stuff, by God, I’m going to change you!” Good luck! We are experiencing the contrast between these new “fed up” energies and the complacency that kept us asleep for sooooooo long. This is precisely why things have been so hard lately. We simply were not
ready until now Not anymore, the time is up. We are now ready. More and more, I’m hearing people say, “I screwed up, I know it, now let me face it and fix it!” Our individual and collective complacency has ended. More and more
we’re feeling it; it’s no circus act; the
current status of Pluto indicates that we are ready to
accept our new, more powerful states of consciousness. We ARE the ones
that we have been waiting for. Pluto says, “I really, really, really mean it this time!” But, we must remember that this is coming from within ourselves and also from the collective consciousness. They’re one and the same. It’s not easy to see this - some planet has to finally come along and say, “Enough!” and that’s the voice of Pluto. Just what does this mean? It means that within us, we (and the country) can no longer carry our baggage around (such as racism and hatred.) Whether it came about recently or has been long-held, it’s time to let it go. It can be frightening to let go of old stuff, but, what most people don’t know is that: Pluto will help you if you just say yes And, I mean big-time help too. I’ve seen it, over and over. And, it happens immediately after the person lets go of the old. A very common occurrence is that the right person comes into our life at such times. Other examples are people having lawsuits against them suddenly dropped. Another is ongoing tensions within a family suddenly resolve. The stories I’ve observed are too numerous for me to share with you here. That’s how the planets work. Many people are so afraid of Pluto and Saturn mainly because they don’t understand their essences. Isn’t that usually the case? All of the planets are planets of opportunity if we go with the flow of what they intend. After all, they are energies within us, and symbolize our basic instinctive archetypal nature. I know this can be hard to understand. Are you afraid when you’re health turns bad? Sure, it’s not pleasant. But, after treatment, we’re usually much better off. That’s Pluto, if we had been more proactive, we possibly could have avoided much pain and suffering. If we have attempted to shove our issues under the rug, Pluto eventually lifts up the rug, exposes all the “dirt,” and burns it. This mirrors the process that we are observing all around us today. The main problem we are having with Pluto is that many of us are falling into the trap of projecting our problems onto someone or something else. This myopic view is misguided and dangerous. This isn’t a condition that is “coming soon,” we’re in it! While Uranus and Jupiter are attempting to bring us a new start in Aries, we still have to deal with the Pluto square to Saturn that is overshadowing the New Spring. Fortunately, the Saturn-Uranus opposition has recently ended. I don’t think we could have taken much more. Look at how much division and polarity this schism has left behind. Er, uh, we left behind. Instead of accepting the challenge of the Saturn opposition to Uranus, that started on Election Day, and called for the two parties to work together, we have chosen to remain at odds and have endangered our own well-being. Not only was this the worst thing we could have done, we see once again that we have caved to the politicians that are only concerned with reelection.
Pluto
is done with warnings. Pluto doesn’t warn, that’s for
the other planets like Saturn. Pluto says, “Since you didn’t heed and adjust
accordingly, I’ll get this settled once and for all.” If you think the Pluto “rewards” those that look deep, face the music and say to themselves, “I’m ready to let go of all of that old junk” and get on with things. I cannot express this enough – the coldest, most distant planet in the solar system called Pluto will help you. It will help to clear the way for you to revive your life. It will bring powerful people to assist you; money out of nowhere; books that say just the right thing; job opportunities; impossible bosses will suddenly disappear, etc. You just have to say yes, I’m ready and willing to let go of the old stuff. THIS IS HOW THE REAL ASTROLOGY WORKS. It’s not to be found in Cosmos’ Bedside Astrologer. On the other hand, if we hold onto the old, well, the outcome is such a drag that …. When we don’t go with the planets, we are not receiving the signals from our own inner sensors and are actually living against our best and highest wishes. Pluto says, if you
want to live against yourself, and against life, I’m going to
expedite your wishes and assist in your decay It has to be this way. Among Pluto’s other pleasant roles, it is the “trashman” of the zodiac. Some force has to have the final say. You may not know this, but this Plutonian archetypal energy is the very same sense you get inside of you when you become fed up and feel that you have no other option other than scrapping the whole project and starting over from scratch. It is ultimately a very healthy process – life supporting. It’s that simple. We’re always creating our own reality, even if it seems harsh. In most Pluto situations that go badly, it really seems as if a slow, gradual, long-term “death wish” is being granted. Pluto and all of the “planets,” are at your behest. Unlike most indigenous peoples who live in accord with their inner promptings, if we don’t pick up on these queues, it means that we are out of touch with ourselves. This can only lead to trouble. These are just some of the possible reasons I’ve seen for such lack of congruence:
Pluto
rules our passions, which is why Scorpios are so full of passion. When we
suppress our strong desires, they just become stronger and more insistent. Festering
emotional conflict can end up being expressed in a distorted fashion. Pluto
wants us to live out our passions – to become them. That’s why we have been
able to respect and enjoy Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe, Neil Young, and Dylan
Thomas. If you don’t let go, it’s not the planet that eventually comes to bring your comeuppance. Astrology tells us WHEN. In such a case, we’ve known all along that someday “it would catch up with us.” Sounds like a rotating planet to me. What goes around, comes around. For many of us, we know when that point comes in our life where we just cannot keep following the antiquated “life”style. Many of us are experiencing this now because Pluto’s current position in early Capricorn has its effects exaggerated. It is time to clean house individually and collectively. So, what does it mean to “clean up our old stuff”? One could go on endlessly, but, each of us knows what these things are, such as: · Any behavior pattern that keeps us weak · Living in the past · Any action that fosters our helplessness and/or dependency · Keeping “alive” old relationships that died years ago, especially marriages in which one is still finding psuedo-solace · Holding on to this or that when it’s just not real anymore Pluto (and the Scorpios that it rules) looks straight through you. Why? Believe it or not, Pluto is obsessed with the truth. And it can see BS coming from 1,000,000 light years away. So now, under this massive Pluto transit in which we find ourselves, if your relationship is dead and you keep kidding yourself, you have to let it go or it will corrode quickly and may in fact become dangerous. When there is no
longer any relating, the relationship is dead Sounds profound. I am just one of the messengers delivering this “newsletter” to you just as Mars is conjoining Saturn IN LIBRA (relationships,) Uranus and Jupiter are in Aries (new beginnings,) and all 4 are squaring Pluto in Capricorn (old structures.) If you find that you are having a painful realization, it is because the light of awareness is shining up through you revealing the “stuckness” in which you have chosen to remain. The shoes no longer fit. · Mars/Saturn = cruelty and frustration; Mars wants action! · Jupiter/Uranus = wild, “I can’t take it anymore” desire to become free from restriction. · Pluto = “Whatever you guys are up to, things are going to change.” The great news is about all the good stuff that happens when you finally free yourself from the old stagnancy. Your feet don’t ache anymore. I have no intention of advising people to stay together or break up. That is up to you. Astrology is about enhancing your freedom. That’s what I try to help you with. Truthfully, in many cases, it’s not so much that relationships needs fixing, it’s more that the individuals involved need to take an honest look at their own stuff. The best way to keep Pluto happy is to “get real.” Are you really contributing and relating to your mate? Or, are you just taking up space? That’s the number one question Pluto always asks: “Are you just taking up space?” Man, that’ll wake you up. 8/2-4 Mars squares Pluto – This one is extremely
combustible. All the tension has been in place for months with the traveling Tsquare to Pluto. Mars, as I write, is in position to
irritate the whole matter. Mars wants action. It’s impossible to narrow down
the areas in which this can target. In general, the things that have been
bugging you for a long time now, need action. Watch out for disproportionate
aggression. 8/3 Jupiter squares Pluto 4:03a – Combined with Mars, this has to do with a power grab. Jupiter is known for its excessive nature. It doesn’t understand the word “no.” When the two are put together, we may find ourselves in the midst of power issues. Make sure you keep your and guard against being too greedy at this time. 8/9 New Moon 17°b
25’ 11:08p – A rebirth of personal pride. This is the time to make sure you’re
getting the respect you deserve. This strong Leo burst should be good for most
of us. In the solar second house of the 8/13 Uranus backs up into Pisces 11:31p – Uranus will calm down its new impact in Aries by retrograding back into Pisces. This will not have a dramatic effect unless you have personal planets in that area. This is a good time to rethink these new “crazy revolutionary ideas” you been having since 5/27. Then, later on in the fall, it’s time to finally let ‘er rip because by then the kinks should be out of your plans. 8/16 Jupiter opposes Saturn 4:45p – When Jupiter (expansion) opposes Saturn (contraction,) something has to give. This is an excellent time to take stock in your financial situation. Am I growing too fast? Am I being to cautious? These questions of the yin and yang, the in and out breath of life come front and center. Think broadly at this time. In a perfect world, we’ll have these two energies balanced. 8/20
Sun opposes 8/20 Mercury goes Retrograde 3:59p – For three weeks, take things slowly. Read document 3 times before you sign them. Make sure your envelopes are addressed correctly. Repeat the details of arrangements that you make. Communications notoriously screw up at this time. I have definitely found that by slowing down mentally, these periods can be much less stressful. 8/21 Saturn squares Pluto 5:47a – This is not a kind one. It will show itself all over the planet and we’ll certainly feel it internally. This is a very tough, sometimes brutal, combination. There’s no way to simplify it. Sometimes life is very, very hard. Those types of issues may very well surface at this time. Again look for Saturn to try to contain nukes (PL.) Also, Saturn will try to stand up to Big Oil, Big Drug Cos., Big Banks, etc. 8/23 Sun enters Virgo 1:27a – This time of year always brings a fresh breath of air. The Virgin harvests her crops now which means that we will start to see the benefits of all of our hard work. There is nothing phony about Virgo. Even so, it can be a tough time. If we want something done, we simply have to do it and avoid making excuses. That’s Virgo. Also, it’s time to be proactive about your health – especially your digestive track. 8/24 Full Moon 1°i 26’ 1:05p – The Full Moon in Pisces will trigger the transiting pair of Neptune and Chiron. We will get a strong urge to help others – to be of service. Don’t underestimate this one. Pisces is the “sleeper” sign of the zodiac. Give reverent attention to your spiritual self at this time. Combined with all the heavy aspects currently going on in the zodiac, this marks a time to give serious thought to giving back. Free birth chart calculations are available
